    As others have mentioned, stat allocation is a remnant from 1.0 where classes could make use of more than just one stat. Since that time, the stat system has gotten simpler and simpler to the point where stat allocation is now a no-brainer: drop everything into Main Stat and call it a day.

    Remember when tanks used to get no damage boost from VIT? Or that DEX used to improve shield blocking rate? Pepperidge Farm remembers!

    Here's hoping they'll clean up the character sheet a good bit. I imagine if they get rid of Resistances, they might be inclined to separate jobs into a Crafter Pane and a Combat Pane, instead of cramming them all into one, 'Class,' Pane like right now. As for attributes, I wouldn't mind seeing that cleaned up either. I feel like Piety could be outright removed and worked baseline into each main stat, so that for a WHM, every point of MND is some percentage of a point of PIE, so that at the end of the day, the numbers remain fairly equal to what we have now.

    Accuracy seems to exist solely for Savage/Extreme content, so I don't think it should be removed so much as, perhaps reworked into each class's main stat like PIE, though at an increased yield. Right now people don't fret with Piety too much and do fine, even in raids, but Accuracy is needed there. So, make it so your baseline Accuracy gain from your job's main stat is about equal to what it would be, were the stat on gear, and allow for players to boost it with materia.

    No source on hand but like others have mentioned, I heard their removing it so. Can finally play sch/smn without having to click like 30+ times
