I had the displeasure of being matched with and against a certain lalafell AST, who throws matches if his team dies too much, or will just throw at 1-2 mins + left. This guy is known to have done that in the past just to spite diamond players, and tonight in 4 matches against and with him he threw 3 of them. Please DO NOT be lazy and report people who do this, this guy in particular tyvm.

I wonder if that's what happened last night. I was Feasting 8v8 for the first time in ages & suddenly we went from heading towards (a slight) win to DEFEAT! The "Light Party" message appeared at almost the same time as defeat so I assume someone dropped. It just shouldn't be possible to do it.

Nah this is from 4v4. There's no reason to do it in 8v8 because win or lose the reward is pretty much the same.

Sorry to see your DC has that one guy Akimitsu, on Chaos there's a Ninja that likes doing that and we've been reporting him for weeks, nothing happens.

I love taking the Wolf's Heart box when on the opposite team of said person, and just seeing him jump around and flip out, I can imagine the "Collecting Wolf's Heart" spam going on for the other team. I can't stand when players just give up in the last 1-2 mins.

Why people like this throw matches, I will never know. And why PVP rank isn't based on your own results rather than being dependent upon the RNG of your group match up, I will also never know.

I keep hoping Stormblood will give us some forthcoming changes in the right direction. Because right now, it's a clusterbungle.

So what if a match doesn't go perfectly "according to plan" right from the start? Some of the sweetest victories can be had right at the very end. I know because I've clinched some with seconds to spare.

Is reporting even worth doing? I've never heard of someone being banned from PVP unless they were being blatant about win-trading or something.

Lalafells? I hate lalafells. If there is 2 lalafells on your team it most likely a lost. If there is 3 lalafells in your team, you shouldn't even try and should just go die asap so you can quickly re-queue for the next match.

Afaik, going afk during a match can be sanctioned, after all it has the same result as wintrading, or boosting. So there is to hope that with enough complaints they will be punished.
