    Finding the Path

After playing this game in beta and quiting three weeks after servers opened to the public I took time off from the game. When patch 1.19 I came back to the game with changes. I personally disliked the stamina bar. Why it did add some strategy to the game i found that choosing what skills to use when at certain times in a fight to be rather taxing to my mind all because it was based on my ability to perform so many actions with in a time frame. Instead of keeping engaged in the world I found myself removed. There are plenty of things that I do dislike currently in the game. Guardian Favor, camera system, anima (at times). The list continues on. However what I did notice with patch 1.19 was the foundation for something bigger. 2.0... What does it mean? New game engine? A world reborn? Better UI? Ok what does that mean? I am not asking for a response to this. Im simply pointing out that why I have enjoyed the game since changes have been implemented, that I still do not understand the clear goal of the new game design approach. It does matter. It matters to all the players. People leaving because of billing? Maybe they dont have ten dollars to throw down. Or maybe they do not see the point in paying for a game that is going to be changed into something else given a years time. Better isnt exactly always better. Sometimes its just indifferent. So I challenge Developers to provide us with some actual real insight into the direction this game is taking. I dont want a tour or anything. I just want some real idea of what kind of game they are trying to make. I want interactive. Something that makes me care about what I am about to go out and do. A world that challenges me as a player but doesn't subject me to hours of meaningless errands. How about a quest that tallies how many players I assist with a quest. Or getting some sort of through an option for healing from outside of a party for them since they have no healer and cannot get a willing replacement. Real compensation for assisting other players. Not just experience points or getting the privilege of being in some awesome dungeon.

My two cents. Its worth what it is.

Looks like the OP doesn't want to invest his time or money into a game which doesn't have, in his view, a direction or end goal.

As for me, and probably a few others, I am content in being blind to which direction SE will take this game. I am happy to play this game knowing that it will change and I have no perceived expectations on what this game will be or where it takes me.

I will play until I find it no longer enjoyable or I find the game not worth paying for.

Thank you for summarizing. OP's wall of text is very off-putting.

OP should read the Pdf files they gave which should give them some idea. Im more excited about the journey to 2.0 than 2.0 itself. (I know its odd). Im having fun just doing random silly stuff as I lvl what I want and leave the rest until they make culinarian viable along with simplified recipes (meaning less ingredients for lower lvl stuff) and stats on food that matter. Time will tell in the end what direction the game is gonna go. If the pdf files are any indication (which I dont see why they would'nt be) its gonna be an interesting time from 1.20 onward.

Yoshi already said what he wants this game to be like when it is "finished" (as far as a MMO can be finished):
a giant amusement park where you have any possible option to do anything you may want to do.
    Anything wrong with that?

I feel the same as leomike.
I'm more excited about the journey than the product at the end
It's interesting and it's special to play during the remaking of a game.
