Amazon Promo Help (Canada)

Hey so I just started the game a couple of days ago and I want to take advantage of the Amazon Promotion. But I read that for Canadians I need to purchase a physical game or object from the video game selection and require a US address. I was hoping to get a time card but apparently, that won't work. So I was wondering if any Canadians or anyone else knows do I need to purchase something physical or can I buy a time card and will it work?

It does not need to be a physical item. I got mine from a virtual Blizzard gift card. Just look at the item listing and ensure it lists the promotion. A digitial game time card is valid. Such as this one:

Strange. Well, the bit about just seeing if the item lists the promotion on the page holds true (in addition to obviously being marked as available to you). Good luck.

You may need to pay a bit extra to have a game delivered but as long as it's something from the .com site and not .ca you should be fine.

Well, different billing and shipping addresses... especially in different countries... your bank might block that under suspicion of fraud. It could be worth a try... use a bogus but plausible US address to register, then just order a digital code that will be emailed to you. But don't be surprised if it fails either...

If you can manage to place the order on the US Amazon website, not the Canadian one, it will work. However, the US website blocks digital orders from Canadians by default... as you found out. Big_Panda is suggesting using a US address to get around that, I think.

Many items do not actually qualify for Canadians no digital items, some items do not even ship, etc... I know back when the white fat chocobo promo was up i was unable to purchase anything. A FC member was nice enough to give me a code they had.
When they say NA Promo really they should state United States Promo, lol
We are not viewed as part of NA for many promos (Not just Amazon or SE)

Perhaps you could find computer accesorries or something?
I am honestly waiting until the cloud mount comes to mogstation a while from now

you're pretty much limited to physical games or accessories for Canadians to order off of Amazon.com. anything digital requires a US address or else you cannot complete check out.

I'm Canadian. I ordered Stormblood off the US website and shipped to a relative in the US. They send you the code online for the game and I also got the Amazon promotional pieces
