The Inevitable Implementation of Red Mage

I'm with Seif on this one. If a gun is put to my head, though, I want a mage. This slippery slope of Redmage-dom is tricky because a RDM is a hybrid to begin with and classes are hybrids and there's too much hybrid-ing. I'm more in favor of the Caster range DD-defuffer being Arcanist>Oracle and lets skip the RDM business until we have a solid BLM and WHM.

we are getting a solid WHM and BLM in 1.21. so solid they will be actual blackmage's and whitemage's. the talk of a new class is not for 1.21 (though you never know they might surprise us, but i wouldn't bank on it) so you statement is pointless. however i do not see the next caster class coming with RDM as job. i've said before, i'll say again arcanist/timemage but black and whitemage before any new class
