Holidays in Eorzea and beyond!

So,

I know that we are far off yet and I also know that there are some bigger events going to be taking place, what with the new playable continent and story etc, but I am just curious about how All Saints Wake and the other holiday festivals are going to play out in Othard and such.

I mean, I had hoped to see some festive cheer in and around Ishgard when it came to those times of the year and was quite disappointed!

Not to mention, a new continent, so NEW holidays to consider possibly?

I guess what I am trying to figure out is, will Ishgard and the new areas be getting festive or will Gridania, Limsa and Uldah be the only party hubs??

Probably not, as these events must cater to the lowest common denominator. A lot of people still won't have Stormblood or even Heavensward, but will want to participate in these events. So, SE needs to offer them the chance to do so. And the only way to do that is to have these events in ARR areas only. :/

Like the previous reply already said, not likely

Unless they eventually release HW for free (because someone could have bought ARR so long ago but stopped playing), we won't have any holiday events in Ishigard

Well they could always give new players a moment in Kugane for the ecent. Make it a limited time only for a special holiday.
