World transfer

I checked the requirements I'd have to meet in order to transfer a character, and met them all. Every time I try, however, I'm told no eligible characters to transfer(Note, it doesn't even let me pick a world to transfer to.) Is there a requirement I'm missing? Maybe character level too low or a certain quest I need to get past in order to transfer?

Gil on retainers? That's what blocked me. The way the website says it makes it sound like excess gil on retainers will just be lost, but how it actually works is that you HAVE to have that amount or less gil on each one or it won't let you complete the transaction.

It's a fairly new character I'm trying to transfer. But it's on the same world as another character, could that be what's preventing me?

You can transfer all characters from one world to another world in a single world transfer, so that wouldn't be it unless the new character is holding it up. Iirc it needs at least 3 days before a character can be transferred after it has been created. This might prevent all characters on the server from being transferable, since it can be a bulk transaction.

It's been about a week now since I made it. Like I said, I met all the reqs. on the FAQ support site I looked at. I contacted them twice and both times I got a random ass template reply that didn't help at all.

Okay... I've re-enacted doing the world transfer like I did before, and the statement I bolded above has me questioning if you're doing it correctly since the very first step requires that you first choose a destination world before moving on to choosing a world to transfer from all before even getting told about eligible character status. I.e. Choosing the destination world is literally the first required step.

This may seem patronizing, but I'm hoping to just to cover all the bases since sometimes even the best of us forget to plug stuff in occasionally.

Step 3: - View character eligibility and select and confirm which characters to transfer:


If all that doesn't even show up for you so that you don't even get the option to choose a world to transfer to then perhaps you have a hold or warning on your account or something that would prevent transfers entirely?

Hey so....I definitely read the "destination" and "current world" options backwards XD thank you. When I last did it I was like dead tired and I guess I just skimmed through it way too fast and hit my world then tried to do destination second and that was the issue -___-
