Posted a while back asking for a gap closer for warriors and suggested that they allow warrior to cross class monks shoulder tackle.
Looks like I got my wish come Stormblood.

Wtf, SE grant your wish but not mine? I wanted warriors after we use berserk to not get that stupid pacification but instead be transformed into a actually bear for 5 sec and be able to do super high damage and even better if there is a lalafell in your party the lala can ride your bear form and it opens a new menu of awesome abilities for 5 sec.
That would be awesome. Since ninjas can summon frogs why can't wars turn into bears?
I love all of this.
Next on the agenda, aetherflow and pets to persist through death. We're not the only class that could do with buffs that persist through death too.
They said they are toning down warriors and scholars in 4.0 because they are too overpowered now. So you'll get gap closer, but Fell Cleave will be on 20 seconds cooldown, Berserk reduced to +30% and switching dps/tank stance will reset stacks. They also said pvp may have completelly separate actions, so shoulder tackle may be not part of it at all. Careful what you wish for.

About nerfing WAR (if other jobs are going to be buffed to the same level then it's basically a nerf for warrior)
Q. Now we'd like to get into job balance. Thanks to your careful balancing, there isn't a single job that can't clear all content. We think that is marvelous, but i feel warriors and Scholars are a little..you know? <...> Are youg going to touch them in the future?
Y. Not before the expansion and we aren't going to just snipe those two jobs. With the next expansion, we will balance all jobs as a whole including new actions to balance them out. Basically, we'd like to push the other jobs up there

About separation of PvP and PvE skills

Source? If thats true that would be rather serious and might push even more players to Samurai /redmage.They said they are toning down warriors and scholars in 4.0 because they are too overpowered now. Since they went to the trouble of developing Deliverance specifically to remove the issue of stack resets, and every previous mention of combining the two (under innate whatever stacks) in the early-mid HW Letters pointed out how they could do that without dropping stacks, while still saving button space... that seems unlikely...They said they are toning down warriors and scholars in 4.0 because they are too overpowered now. I thought they specifically said that they'd prefer to look at it as "bringing the others up to WAR" rather than pulling WAR down, even if that may mean more nuanced adjustments than just (nerf hammer or buff stick)? {Oh, there it is.}
