Yep, I suspect it'll be a way for SE to tone down the need to micromanage the fairy so much. Hardly a bad thing overall though.

Sort of looks like a focus heal. Maybe higher healing on a single target for a short time? Like if you do no management at all, if a party member has lower HP (percentage I believe) than a tank, they get healed first. But if its a castable skill, then you have to target the person anyways, so it's weird.
I saw it. I only watched once so far but I got the impression that it was almost an offensive action, like a buff/attack. We will have to wait & see!
You mean Guard actually works on sch now?
I wonder if it will be the Scholar's version of Synastry. (or one of the new healing cross class skills). The fairy could focus/tether to a specific person, increasing healing power and giving a portion of heals done to other party members to them?
Pure speculation only.
I felt like it was pretty offensive too...
