Character Creation Failure

I've said it before, but their ability to ignore the most-repeated pleas of their playerbase amaze me.

The game really needs more character customization. It doesn't have the excuse of WoW's age to fall back on.

Not just that but, the two new hairstyles are copies of already existing hairs. They are going to add just two hairs, and they aren't new.

I would like to see more customization options but that is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down on the list, so no.. while it would be nice, I am not upset that there won't be new ones.

Ask again when 5.0 comes in the distant future. They said no and we have to respect that. Yeah, it sucks that we didn't get further customization, but that's how it is sometimes. Atleast they have listen to most of our pleas.

Well this thread is like a feedback, I mean OP is stating points in general so maybe someday maybe in a near patch they can improve that, i know is hard doing it all together but why not adding little stuff like other types of eye brows or special features that are no race locket.
Dont say just cause it dosent matter to you is something lesser and shouldnt have to be take in consideration, man people pay a lot for fantasia almost everyday so knowing that fantasia is a good profit for the game, they should take CC serious. Lets be hones a lot of people mostly who plays female characters are very disapointed with the 2 hairstyles that are coming with the expansion(it seems very lazy), HW had 2 for female and 2 for male Im hopping they share race exclusive hairstyles atleast for the next patch after launch.

I too am a bit bummed at the lack of character customization. Its getting kinda boring seeing everyone that looks so similar because we are so limited in face options and such. And hairstyles too. I feel like all the mens short hair looks too similar, idk. I am disappointed that we didn't get a new race or character customization options.

As for only two new hairstyles at launch I'm not too surprised because I'm sure they will add more along the way.

Take female Hyur Midlander - 5 face shapes, 4 jaws, 5 eyes, 5 noses, 5 eyebrows, 4 mouth options. The first option for each of those would be one face, change any of them to the second option while not changing anything else is a different face (not strikingly different, but still different and it's not uncommon for MMOs that don't use a slider to use similar faces with just a couple details altered to make difference options). Those combinations start to add up after a while (just doing each base face with one of the four different mouth options leads to twenty variations, and there are MMOs out there where twenty is the total number of options full stop).

I'm not saying we couldn't use a number of improvements (more vibrant hair colors, better facial hair options, more ear options, letting Au Ra choose which horn style they want to go with their chosen face, etc) but it's not like we're stuck with just 5 faces.

I don't care about any of the character creation options except the hairstyles. I want them to fix the major clipping issues with longer hair and armor/shield models. Only then would I want them to add in more hair and other options. As it stands right now I am unable to wear any hairstyles that are longer than the jawline.
