I kinda feel a little tired about all the: "Dont complain look how much we get for SB!" posts, even though we get less content in a lot of places and around the same in others.

Also lets not forget that Yoshida himself said that we wont have that much big changes in the battle system.

So yes for me this is just another disappointed on top of the others.

We wont get a new race, we have a job less, the zones are around the same size of HW (yet we will go to a complete new continent), swimming feels just like flying and is normally not a expansion seller. Keeping the wards for housing is not something positive for me too. Also the inventory increase is a joke, especially since we did not get one in HW.

So for me having more options for the character customization would have been quite a big positive point. I knew from the fanfest that we would not get that too...yet I am completely shocked how we will also only get two new hairstyles at the beginning of the expansion. I mean we often get more in a normal patch..

I mean this is a new expansion, not a simple patch. We pay the price of a full new game on top of our subscription for that..I do believe that we have the right to complain that it feels like we will get less. I just feel like they went the lazy route and I am kinda curious how the forum will look some time after SB launched. Since HW already sparked lots of negative threads..

Your realize the bench mark literally is just to see if your pc can run the new stuff comeing and that the charicter creator is just a sampling of what's in the main game there may be more hair styles in the full release of the game so calm down its ok life moves on

If I remember it correctly they did say in the recent liveletter that there will be only two new hairstyles at the launch of SB, so yes those two seems to be only one. And dont worry this is not something life threatening for me. But at the same time I still feel like posting my opinion about this as a customer.

Not that I don't agree with your point, but... I'd sacrifice swimming for more customization in a heartbeat. I fear swimming will lead to Blitzball.

you have spent a lot of money on new server infrastructure and expansion development, there is no spend on a new playable race this expansion, why is there no update to character creation?

Because there are priorities. New race and character customization will not affect your gameplay. Servers will, skills and abilities will, jobs and balancing them will.

New race and customization are coming, just not now.

My only disappointment is that they still refuse to add new face options. Even just one or two per race would satisfy me (as long as they aren't fugly).

To be honest, the only expectations I have are based on the story. If SB does a bad job on the story then I'll be disappointed. However, it's a case of for me the bacon butty is the story, and everything else is the brown sauce. To put it into a food analogy. So atm, I can't be disappointed. The build up towards SB has me excited.

Yoshida already confirmed that for release what is in the benchmark is what we are getting at launch. Personaly, I wish they went for 1 masculine and 1 feminine hairstyle, instead of two masculine hairstyles.
