Character Creation Failure

What I would like to see if a full blown color wheel, like you see in paint and photoshop programs, when it comes to hair and eye color. I know another game that has this and it's amazing to be able to pick your own color like that. It also has contrast and brightness options, I think they are called. Like you could either have a bright glaring pink or a muted grey/pink, or a light pastel pink. Whatever you wanted. That's the main think I wish they would add.

They never said there was going to be a character creation overhaul in Stormblood in any of the live letters.

Its not that I'm upset about SB. Its more that I'm upset that a lot of QoL stuff we've asked over the year are still not getting added.

Don't think anyone is asking for an overhaul. Just that, generally, with expansions comes new character creation options. I'm actually surprised about the complete lack of any additions. Doesn't help that people's expectations are higher what with the increase in budget, and the fact that we are not getting a new race this time around (plus one less job).

Perhaps this is a case of quality over quantity, but, as we have yet to play the expansion, there no way of knowing that the content is quality enough to make up for less new "things."

(Don't get me wrong, though, I'm excited enough for the expansion without more character creation options.)

They never promised character creation updates, so no, not disappointed at all. I wasn't expecting it in the first place.

But like... the people who develop character customizations aren't the same people as say, those who design new maps, quests, and battle content. This shouldn't be a one-or-the-other situation in which we have to choose between getting a new fight or a new face.

I would have to check credits, but I can't be certain of that. Our dev team is notoriously small and they've said multiple people work on varying content. Except Soken. He's surgically grafted to a piano.
