A consern about space efficieny since stormblood is not getting enough space increase

This inventory expansion barely gave enough space for new expansion items. My armory space has filled up with leveling gear and my regular inventory is quickly filling up with tokens. I have about 25 spaces of inventory left but how long will it last until new seasonal glamours, housing items and promotion items take that space because barely anything goes in the Armoire? Will I have to delete some of my expensive glamour sets like I did before Stormblood launched?

I can't even start gathering and crafting before I've leveled more jobs, because first I have to get rid of DoM/DoW leveling gear, move some glamours into the armory space from my retainers and then move stuff from my inventory into my retainer's inventory to make space for crafting mats. When I started this game I didn't imagine I'd be playing tetris with my inventory just to be able to perform basic game play...

The live letter showed that they at least know the free retainers are not enough for a noticeable portion of players. In case they still don't get it I'd like to remind the devs of this. We don't need more bag space to carry our stuff around. We need more total space, more options to repurchase things, more items to go in the Armoire, more currencies shown in the currency tab, more separate space for housing items or best of all a way to store glamour appearances without holding onto the item.

The easiest solution, more free retainers, is already at their disposal and the fact that they haven't offered it yet speaks volumes about how out of touch they are with the realities of their own game. I'm tired of hearing excuses about difficulties in development and instability of servers when a solution already exists and they still choose to charge money for something that would ease our troubles tremendously. Just give us two more free retainers, one for each expansion, and keep the rented ones as is.

Ya space always issues, we are in another expansion and still dealing with this? I highly doubt that this issue will go away. The marketing team or who ever is in charge of mogstation is smiling since it is forcing people who craft,gath,housing or glam to buy retainers. So that side of the business is smiling all the way to the bank.

And we have every right and valid reason to complain at them (and withhold our money, be it from subs or from the Mogstation) until they stop doing that.

Not limited only to "storage," but also UI improvements are desperately needed. Retainer costs pretty much double the cost of the subscription. Why is the UI so lack luster to look at and cumbersome to use? One would think more attention would be given to an area of the game that brings in so much alleged revenue.

I actually hope they don't add additional retainers. With the current UI, I can't imagine the chore it would be managing more than eight.

That is one thing that makes me question the legitimacy of his claim. If EVERYONE were to suddenly buy 2 or more retainers, would the game suddenly crash or would it carry on like nothing has happened?

We aren't a captive audience by definition. We can leave whenever we want. I fully intend to leave by the first patch if they don't do something about this.

The point is that hardly anybody uses the 'buy an additional retainer' option. If they really wanted to make more money, they would fix the storage issue so people would have a place to store the stuff they sell on the mog station. More mog station glam items is like printing your own money.
