A consern about space efficieny since stormblood is not getting enough space increase

A glamour log was already requested about 2 years ago at HW launch, since it could've improved the long time subs by a lot - they refused.
People asked for a 3rd retainer at HW launch to compensate for this mess, they also refused and openly admitted in the forum that you could always buy more retainers.

Its been 2 years, its all in the forums! You just need to look a few pages back and slowly realize, that they truly have no shame in taking your money while ignoring long term problems that could've made people stay permasubbed way longer.
But why would they care? As long as there are enough people who pay for extra retainers the income will outweigh the losses.

A 3rd Retainer would've been an easy solution to alot of problems, still no glamour log, but at least something.
Even after years I am still amazed how out of touch SE is with the playerbase at times.

It's not that I don't understand your position, I get it. I sympathize as well. It's unpleasant that you cannot play the game as you like since you held up your end of the contract by paying your sub.
but I never expected more than more quests and content when i payed for my expansion , and fully expected to have to do better inventory management OR pay for more premium services to compensate.
the part I don't understand is people arguing that "other games do this... ". OK.. cool. This one doesn't and has never hidden what it is. There are free trials and many online resources to elaborate on how it plays out for what you pay.
You claim false advertisement, but I see no such claims made by SE.

Winds me up every time I look at key items storage, I think the most I ever seen in it was maybe 2 lines. They should move all the alex, omega, primal, beastmen currencies into it for a start.

I'm pretty sure they take that in consideration. As a service provider, they also have the right to ignore your wants so long it doesn't break your contact.

Not exactly the same topic, but apparently SE didn't mind to break the contract in XIV elsewhere. I love the games they publish under their belt, I really do, but they are infamous for shoddy business practice and bad customer service. This isn't the first time nor will it be the last.

Passing that, at worst SE is just leveraging on a loophole on their user agreement since steam wasn't covered or at best they simply did a logical business move which comes at a cost of bad publicity (imo). I wonder if they really are making more money this way. Didn't Yoshi say that not many people paid for extra retainers? If that's the case, they aren't particularly lucrative for the company.

I said earlier in the thread that I don't buy glamour from the Mog-station because I know I'm going to have trouble finding room to store it. Y'stola's outfit, Swimwear, cute outfits from past seasonal events, there's a long list of things I'd like to own but haven't bought, simply because of the storage issue.
If that's just me then it doesn't make much difference, but if a significant number of us are making similar decisions then that's a lot of lost revenue. So, is it just me?

I don't like being cynical but if a business is doing something that they discover is losing them money, that's usually focuses attention and forces a change.

I am playing Rift for free next to this one and its so nice to just sell all the gear items that I dont need right now simply because as soon as you own them you will unlock them in their version of glamour log. Also its so enjoyable how easy it is to glamour in this game. Just choose the options that you want and click save. No prisms, no other stuff to do and if you get something new you will still keep the old glamour until you change it with one click.

Also every single currency goes into a special menu. I cant say much about space with crafting and gathering but when I wanted to craft a certain item I could just click on the button next to the necessary item and a window will pop up where I can buy this. Its not possible for the items you have to gather but still this makes it way easier.

After that its getting hard to see the systems in FF14 in a good light..

Even if SE listed steam prices, it would be still in US-Dollar, Euro, english Pound and Yen. Which still not changed on Steam accounts that use those currencies.
