More likely is that Paladin got their own version of Holiest of Holy somewhere between 60 and 70. The question remains how viable it would be in an AoE situation where they risk being interrupted though. Hopefully the team thought this through.
Not sure about the single target viability thing just because of the hilariousness of the Warrior using overpower on a single target XD (Didn't seem like SE was thinking of showing off the most effective use of abilities, but rather just showing them off in general). Not that it can't be though, would be a smart way to keep Paladin's kit straight forward but bring up a core principle in all jobs (damage, if your damage sucks you will be overlooked for another job the moment content is no longer so challenging you need cheese defense - all jobs must be able to bring competitive damage /or/ be able to help so much in a way that they allow others to bring it (but it always ends up being "got deeps?")).

Imo the spells should be uninterruptible, minus a flat out stun mechanic of course. Perhaps you could bake that into the oaths (shield oath = uninterruptible spells, perhaps sword oath is cheaper/faster spells or something like for 5 seconds after casting a spell you gain X tp back).
