[New Player] Steam and additional retainers.

Hi everyone,
I'm a new player currently playing the free trial in Brynhildr as an Elezen (why are the elezens like giants here!?)

My questions lies within the Steam,
when I googled for FFXIV on Steam, I got a hit and all the way to Stormblood. Unfortunately when I open up the link, it redirects to Steam's homepage, in which I took the liberality to conclude that Square Enix and Steam do not have any collaborative means anymore. Which might make my plan to have two additional retainers upon purchasing the game a bit hindered, but well everything is hindered when I cant purchase through Steam hahahaha.

The initial plan I did come up with was that I would purchase the game on Steam and continue paying the subscription fee and additional fee for the two retainers through it, because Square Enix does not have any other option to pay for the retainers other than credit cards (which I do not possess at the moment).

My condition here is that I do not possess a credit card or a person who has the willingness to forward my payment through their credit cards. Thus my option is that either to get the game from a 3rd party who will definitely take some profit on to their service. I have found the person who is selling both the game and the 60 day in game time gift card, so I will be dealing with him for the game time occasionally. While I am still trying to figure out how to get the additional retainers I might want. Anyone with authority who is willing to help would be nice. If you have any ideas or find anything that I miss please let me know. Thank you!!

Crysta is an option if you don't have a credit card, as you can just pay via Paypal.

Paypal has just been available in my country some time ago (I've checked so many times before they had not been operating here but now they do), in which they are collaborating with the local banks here. *I live in a third world country*
Definitely going to check on them soon, I just submitted my information to Paypal.

if u have a steam account u can use paypal linked Viva steam payment as for the game u get 2 retaners for free and can buy up to 6 more if needed p.s its all on mogstaion
