I wouldn't worry too much, I main DPS - since I started in Apr 2015 - and have 2,466 comms. Most of that time, I was playing DRG in fact. Since getting my DRG to 70(was first one I did), I've switched to RDM as my main, I've gotten much less comms than when I played DRG. And that's with almost always ressing people in 8/24-man content. Take last night for instance, ran Rabanasty and during Hashy I was ALWAYS at near empty MP. The two SMN were almost always full(when alive...one of them didn't dodge so well, same with the PLD and one of the healers..and our two melee DPS), and my Lucid was always on CD. Didn't get a single comm that run, despite having ressed the healer, SMN, SAM, and PLD multiple times.
