its DPS classes I feel bad for. Aside from seeing who's highest on the aggro table, their contribution is more subtle than constantly fluctuating health bars and flashy buffs/healer AoEs. I have a lot of comms, and I play 270/270 AST/SMN about equally. I'd say 80% or more are from healing (I swear I don't suck at SMN! XD). When I give out comms, I always try to consider the DPS first.

same here whm/smn main. 2 things which give me a slight direction directly at the start of every df content is watching your companies comp/gear and than... wait for the first mass-mob and see how they react and perform as a grp with synergy or not. thats all you need to know/see if someone is on fire or just on an agenda run... most of the times (although not every run) I know very early if and who will get my com tho. especially on healers side im a bit fussy... its not just about support dps but about improvise, reaction and prevention - Seeing people die on dots or doom (currently farming d4 normal for a twink and without kidding doom kill people there EVERY freaking time...)... is like "how did you even come to your charlevel?"... wanna com? work for it q.q
