Suggestion for an item to be added to gold saucer - Chocobo Boots

You know, since people could dye the Chocobo Suit and Racing Mask, I've seen more people using them...

If only the outfit was complete, any of our colour coded classes would look way better

Yo, been 4 years since my last post in this thread. We still don't have the boots. What's the hold up?

Still got my fingers crossed about the boots for the next major patch next month~

In the mean time, here's a pic of me wearing my chocobo racing helm at the Ren Fest I went to with my Fiance this past weekend~

Had about 2 dozen people know what game it's from, and some others who just knew 'CHOCOBO!' including letting a few take pics of themselves in the mask. Was a very good day~~



Side note: I actually got some compliments for the PVC staff I made from home depot for about $18, which I wasn't expecting, but I enjoyed getting :3

I commissioned a Leatherworker on Etsy to make it back in 2020 before my jaw surgery (More funds since I couldn't eat food for 2 months), so I only made the PCV staff in that

I know it won't be in 6.4 (Unless it's a secret), but I'm gonna keep bumping my thread. I'm not the only one who wants those good lookin' boots to be added~

No boots for the Make it Rain campaign, but I'm still gonna keep bumping this thread. It's the only thing in game I want the most, besides maybe a telekenetic or rune based mage job/blitzball ranged physical job..

I shall use my tears to water my Gyshal Greens and keep hoping they add it.

The only thing I can think of that's stopping the boots from being added is the sources for the suit, the mask, and the fat head are from achievements and the achievement man in Gridania. Makes me worry that when (if it ever happens) the boots are added they'll be locked behind an achievement that takes years to complete like 10,000 chocobo racing wins or something like that (I've jinxed it by saying that haven't I?).

The best compromise I've found that kinda works is the Dhalmelskin Shoes:



But even then it's a compromise. The real deal would be much better.

Also just my yearly hat tip to the reasonable desire to have an outfit completed, and just really wondering why they might be holding onto it for so long. Desperately hoping it means some awesome chocobo content, but alternatively it could just be like a random making it rain reward and everyone is like "wot?" lol.

A while ago I made a list of all the boots I'd found with claw decorations on them – with Viera in mind primarily, but some might be useful for this as well.

(We need more clawed shoe options that aren't knee-length boots, so getting the chocobo shoes would help on that front too.)
