    The delay is intentional because the skills are extremely powerful, can be used while moving, cannot be interrupted, require no MP or cast bar. That said, they are given slight delays to make up for it. You can heal 40k+ with a single cooldown or nullify all damage for 10 sec. There needs to be a downside other than cooldown. SE has stated before the cooldown isn't a bug, it's a feature and is intentionally a drawback.

    I get what you're saying, but benediction isn't a very good skill IMO. Compared to all of the other instant heals, it's very lackluster. What does benediction do? It "instantly" heals the target for full health. It has a 5 minute cool down.

    That doesn't mean much with how powerful healing in this game is.

    If I'm a WHM, I can pop divine seal and use use a couple of Cure II's or Tetragrammation and then tank will be up to full health or pretty close to it. It's VERY easy to get a tank up to full health in this game. Benediction is nothing compared to Essential Dignity. It has a 40 second cooldown and has a potential potency of 1000 (Tetregrammations potency is 700). To top it all off, it does not have the delay that benediction has. It's the best instant heal in the game IMO, and is apart of what makes AST so good right now. Why would you give a draw back like that to WHM and PLD? They're already the most undesired jobs to take in a raid right now. Why make it worse?

    You'll only ever get to use it once per pull, depending on how fast DPS is. I think that's draw back enough.

    That's all for benediction. I can see why you'd say that for Hallowed ground though. All of the other "emergency" cooldowns have a draw back to them. I'd argue that HG's drawback is that it's on the most undesired tank in the game right now but I'm not sure if that's drawback enough.

    The fact that player base thinks it's a bug should give the developers a hint on how the player base views their decisions

    Bene can be used in Cleric's Stance, is unaffected by "Healing Potency Down" buffs, ignores how much HP the player has and it can still be used while moving/dodging mechanics or while silenced.

    This is absolute nonsense. The spells already have monstrously long cooldowns to balance out their power. They shouldn't have an additional broken "feature" on top of it that makes them completely useless in the situations they're needed the most.

    I agree, I really like a more detailed answer by development why that exists.

    Ok doing dun a bit ago (v3) reminded me of something that drives me nuts with the delays. So here I am casting ruin 3, turn, while walkign back when I death flare, all used before the bar got full and my back to diabolus. So why am I getting hit with sleep?

    In ARF, I can go in the black hole thing, get pulled up, get feathered effect on my stats, and still get hit by that move the boss does to make you mini, etc. Adding delays does not make this game playable at 200-220 MS, it makes it infuriating to those that try maximize DPS. Is there a way to check ping/ ms values though the game itself?
