You can pre order something if you can't pay for something within the time given, Amazon doesn't take the money until the item is shipped/released.

If you're short on cash for two weeks, either make sacrifices to allow you to afford the items if they're that important to you or suck it up.

Be thankful you actually have the opportunity to easily obtain the promotion items in the first place, unlike the majority of European and Oceanic players who were screwed over the first time around due to multiple dire issues. Whilst it's unfortunate that you don't have the cash to spare at the moment you have the option to pre-order something as other posters have pointed out. You could sell something, too, such as old games that you no longer play or furniture that you no longer use to make some quick money in a pinch. Then take that to your bank and use it to order something that qualifies for the promotion.
