Coming Back to FFXIV, I need a Family/FC!

Hi everyone,

I started playing FFXIV in July of 2015 with a friend of mine. He started me off as a LNC and ran me through the first 31 levels and left me hanging. He was a game hopper so it shouldn't have surprised me. Fast forward to a few days ago, I decided to pick FFXIV back up and learn it before the new expansion hits. I logged in, was instantly lost, and decided to log back out of fear.

Now since that day I have logged in more and started getting back used to playing it, but unfortunately I'm very indecisive and noobish to know what to do and what steps to take to learn the game and expand my abilities. I have joined two FCs so far in my return and both left something to be desired (nothing in particular wrong with them, I'm just a very fickle and picky person ). I am looking for a decently active but not overbearing FC.

The first FC I was in had a total of 40 people in it and only 2-3 on at all times. They were very nice but it felt small and they were busy doing a lot of advanced stuff (which I can understand).

The second FC I joined had 150 people and was quite active (about 40-50 people logged in), but I felt overwhelmed and lost. I was asking advice in the chat and felt my messages were being lost. (I swear I'm not needy, this is sounding like I'm needy).

So TL;DR - looking for a decent sized FC (60-80 people, of which maybe 8-15 people active most of the time) who enjoys helping new people, explaining things in stupid simple terms (or even better, if you can relate it to WoW, I can understand it a hell of a lot easier) and can be a good source of knowledge. If your FC sounds like a fit, please do let me know!

Perhaps you'll be interested in our Free Company: Delusion of Grandeur <Grand>. We do have a roster of 120 members, but a few of those are ALTS and at most we have an average of 15-20 players on at once. So not too overbearing. :3 We're a Rank 8 FC with 24/7 EXP buffs, with a large mansion located in the Lavender Beds and a plethora of housing NPCs and crafting stations! We also have weekly events and a Discord if you ever feel like wanting to chat with us! Not to mention our Officers and Free Company members are always willing to help out should you need the assistance! All in all we're a friendly, casual bunch that enjoys playing the game! (Not to mention, we have lots of WoW players as well X3)
