Okay but to be clear, that's a fourth party on top of the third party you're talking about there. Someone *could* is all you have right now, and that is a lot of effort to go to to shame someone which tells me, person X in this actively wants to shame person Y, so they'll find any way to do it anyway.
You can't look up the DPS percentile for dungeons. AFAIK there is no recorded percentile list for Baelsar's Wall. ATM it's just Creator Savage that my rankings show up for. So if your dps isn't up to par in Creator Savage then that means you're doing Creator Savage, and at that point (I) actively want to be a better player for the team anyway.PotD just says, "Here are the top 100 scores out of X participants."
Maybe this is where we differ: I like to assume the best of people where it seems you like to assume the worst. In the context of parsing just your party or alliance, the parser gives a complete ranking top 8 of 8 or top 24 of 24, allowing you to look for a particular member's score and shame him for his performance. If it were comparable to PotD rankings, you would only see who ranked #1 (or perhaps 1-3 in an alliance), and you would have no information about the rest of the group.
If we're still talking about FFLogs which is the leaderboard I compared PotD's to then only people who are doing the current endgame raid content are in rankings at all. Not regular dungeons, not guildhests or FATEs or PotD even. Just (in 3.5x's case) Creator Savage. So of the playerbase, this is only the selective few that go in there that would even be up in the rankings.
So you want FFLogs to only display the top 1 percentile of people who've cleared Savage, as opposed to just people who've cleared savage? In case it's not clear, I'm not saying "Let's do this." I'm only saying, "If we displayed parse results in a manner more simmilar to the Palace rankings, it would look more like this."
So what you're admitting to, is you like the guilty until never proven innocent defense right now?
Also I doubt that it would be that much of a hassle, since the mods would still probably be biased against parser users.
