Returning player, PotD question

Hey all, been gone for almost two years (a month or so after HW dropped) so a lot of the dungeon stuff is new to me.

If I were to use PotD to level up my non-60 classes will I get level appropriate gear such as armor and jewelry or just the weapon, that can be used outside of the dungeon?

Just weapons with a chance to upgrade to a kiana weapon. You will need a total of 90/90 lights to get one kiana weapon. 30 for the base weapon and 60 to upgrade it.

Yeah, just the weapon for equip able gear, as Manuel noted. If you do well with the accursed horde(hidden chests), you can get some other items that might prove interesting. There are several glamour sets you might end up with, along with tier 4 and 5 materia. The real prizes come in the deepest floors though. On my server the pegasus mount sells for 40 mil or so, which would be enough cash to upgrade more then a few pieces of gear to the ilvl 250/255 crafted sets. And if you decide to go in at level 60 then it does get you the current tomes(poetics lore and scripture), so you could get some upgrades out of Idyllshire too. If you wanted.

Right now I'm trying to grind out those PotD floors to get caught up with everyone else. The tomestone route looks to be the fastest at the moment.
