FYI, I just made my purchase of a physical item and received the code email about 3 seconds after confirming the order, so it appears they had the same issue as last year where the system either wasn't working or hadn't been setup yet to automatically dole out the codes and those that rushed in to immediately take part in the promo get to wait it out a bit longer.

Just make sure it's both sold by amazon and fulfilled by amazon. I wasn't paying attention initially and ordered it when a 3rd party seller was selected. I had to cancel and then re-purchase with amazon as the seller.

Chatted with Amazon rep. they said $20 for Steam didn't work even though it meets all the qualifications lmao (19.99+ and from their video game department).

You probably missed this part then: "Items that qualify for the promotion will have a note on the store listing."

- If you get a code from a pre-order, e.g. Stormblood, you won't get the code until the game actually ships/releases (e.g. for Stormblood, 20th of June)
- If you don't use the code (that you get from Amazon) until the end of this year, they won't work anymore.

Soo... two questions regarding these Amazon promos.

1) I was away from the game last june/july, any way of getting White Fat Chocobo and Maid uniform now?

2) As a Canadian these "North American" promos are garbage since a 20$ game would end up costing at least 28$ plus shipping and customs. Does this promo ever come to canada and/or is there an effective way to buy from Amazon.com?

FFXIV is really starting to piss me off with these limited items, especially when they end up cash shop items; I've been subscribed to this game since ARR launched, why are you charging me for event items I might accidentally miss? R.I.P Egg mount, you will be missed ;-;

SE doesn't differentiate between any of the NA countries.
It won't "come to Canada" as it's already here. We're stuck paying the extra.

That being said, I got my stuff pretty quick. Within half an hour everything was done.
