Gath believes that they have to wait for a response from the dev team in Japan via email or whatever means they use before they can post a valid response to "hot" topics. When they finally get an email back they either get a valid response or they get a "We can't answer that right now." or something along those lines. They get a lot of heat when they post that so they decide not to post on it at all. You get nothing if they respond in that way or if they don't respond at all.

Give them a break, they try to mingle with us and whilst they wait for emails they post in topics that are just plain silly.

Gath also knows that they won't post in the same thread as Gath for their powers will be seeped into my being if they dare cross these boundaries.

Hi OP. They and others are reading the forums. Some topics, due to their content, need to go through the proper channels on their response. Topics where they don't need the chain of command or allow some executive decision based on the info given to them allow for quicker responses.

I understand for situations like "will servers merge" they need prior permission to give us information

but for thigs like
"Targeting is horrible can we get an option like this?" they can't say "thanks for you're input, we will pass it along"

not to mention one of the server merge posts is over 40 days old. that a lot of time to go un acknowledged.

While they can't respond to every worthwhile thread, I think they've done a worthwhile job relaying the info.

My one pet peeve is that, they are our only way to have a real dialog with the devs. And I wish that threads that have had a lot of time spent forming ideas in them, they would give us more insight into the direction of those specific topics, so we can form ideas based on the real workings of the dev team, as opposed to what we think they're doing or things in game now that might be altered fundamentally.
