I regret spending so much to attend the first fanfest. It's nice to know I can get those exclusives for cheap if I wait a couple years. I don't have to attend or buy the 2018 fanfest streams now

All the same, I'm not keen to jump on the next fanfest items right away. I'm willing to take the gamble and wait to see what happens with future exclusives/event items/whatever y'all want to call them. As time passes, I don't feel like I need them to enjoy the game.

Well the FFX yuna outfit is put together pretty crappy (body and legs once piece) and never been much for minions.

Actually , the 2014 Fan Fest items were spelled out to be exclusive as well. Exclusive to those that attended Fan Fest or bought the streams. Not to be available to everyone. That is not exclusive. I can tell you I won't be spending money to attend the next Fan Fest. 2014 and 2016 were enough after this (and the downgrade in the last one as well).

Hmm.. Yeah see that's a problem. Another good research post though, some ancient pictures in this thread now lol XD. Hope they can work to be unified and explicit in their wording on this, perhaps for those who paid they offer them a compensation for the mistake (maybe cash shop cash to spend on something else).

I don't imagine everyone bought it for the idea it was exclusive but I do believe some did... (as people have said here) and that is bad, to say something will be exclusive and then make it not. That's just bad manners.

Exclusive, or at least another word/icon, should become the de facto word to mean "not obtainable elsewhere". I would also like one for limited time, so we can know if the offer will vanish - like if the purchasing of streams will be pulled down at some point, limited and exclusive can be used conveniently together and separately too which is nice. If they don't then I almost suggest each time they have a promotion with the word exclusive there is a public service announcement by the community that exclusive doesn't mean exclusive lol. Would also probably help them if they make this system so they don't make a mistake in the future, they'd have a list of items they put on that "exclusive" list and easily reference it when making new sales.

So either they made a mistake or all items are up for grabs in future purchase deals, nothing is improper to ask for (I'm a fan for things to resurface later so long as their wordings are proper, so I hope something is changed to at least better accommodate the future).
