NOTE: I would vastly prefer to play healer going into the expansion as I feel that is where the majority of my skill lies and I have never played another role in a raid setting previously. That said, I am willing to switch roles entirely for the right group/to stick with a Behemoth static. Current jobs at 60 include all healers, DRK, MCH, SMN, and BLM. Since we have plenty of time before Stormblood hits, if the static would allow me, I could level and begin practicing another job to be raid-ready before the expansion.
That said: I am an i270 healer looking for a group to go into Stormblood with. (Possibly Creator speed runs, if the group is interested, though getting a solid group for 4.0 is my top priority.) Due to a change with my irl job I am no longer able to raid with my current group, which has A12S on farm. I am looking for a static that preferably operates on PACIFIC TIME (or is an extreme late night static in other time zones); 8 PM - 11 PM PDT is the ideal time during weekdays; I absolutely cannot raid past midnight, and 8 is just about the earliest I can go for a start time. My weekends are completely free for the most part, and the midnight restriction goes away on Friday and Saturday nights (or nights preceding a holiday). Yes, for the time being, my schedule is going to be pretty inflexible; blame my new job.
I would prefer if the static were on Behemoth so that we can communicate via LS and do things outside of raid without the hassle of cross-world parties. That said, I'm still open to joining a cross-world static. I will NOT, however, xfer worlds. I have too many friends here and a FC that I do not wish to leave.
A bit about me: I've been playing the game since August after Heavensward's launch, and have been raiding on AST since relatively late into the Gordias tier. I cleared up to the add phase of A3S when it was relevant. I raided again in Midas, clearing up to Brute Justice in A8S when it was relevant. For the Creator I had a bit of a rough tier with statics falling apart and just not working out, but I recently joined The Onions of Behemoth and joined a brand new, late tier static that managed to clear A12S in less than two weeks of progression on it as a group. We've had it on farm for about two months now, and in those two months have managed to become one of the top ten statics in terms of clear speed on the server. In addition, to meet the demands of this new static, I began raiding on SCH; previously I've only ever raided on AST. This, coupled with the philosophies of my FC (endgame raid FC <<Onion>>), have driven me to focus heavily these past few months on trying to improve my parses and performance as a healer: DPS parses being an area in which I was particularly week. (I'm still not the strongest, but comparing my DPS from earlier on in this tier to what I've been able to pull more recently, you'll be able to see the difference.) I'm always striving to improve in every way I can to be the best player I can possibly be. The only reason I'm not BiS on SCH is because, at the advice of one of the FC's top SCHs, I'm doing a bit of restatting so I can min-max my Crit and SpS.
I can play any healer that is needed; just let me know which you'd like me to start the tier with, so I can place that as a priority for leveling.
What I'm Looking For in a Static
*Consistent, stable and reliable. If the static is a revolving door, or people are always late, or notable progress is not able to be made after a relatively short amount of time, I am not interested.
*Serious progression but still able to have a bit of fun.
*A group of members who not only raid just to beat content and get gear, but also to try to better themselves as players through speed runs, optimization and the like. It would also be nice if everyone enjoyed doing stuff together outside of raid.
*A serious but friendly environment. I've been in groups with players whose “seriousness” made them so damn toxic I'd question how they can even get into even hardcore groups in the first place.
*Open to change and suggestion. Working with others in and outside of our FC is what made our static so successful. Also kind of a turn-off when people brush off any outside ideas that are brought to the plate for the sake of optimization and making things easier.
*Talkative with active (raid-related) communication in comms during pulls. Communicating CDs, intent, and the like. Silence is my absolute pet peeve when raiding...
*A group that runs 3 hours a night and at least 4 days each week, if not more during progression. I can raid any day of the week as it is, the only possible caveat to this being if I get stuck at work late (I work in an an urgent care type setting, so shit happens; sometimes literally), in which case I will promptly notify if I'm going to be late, how late I will be, and if I will be unable to raid because of it. So far, this hasn't been an issue. Let's hope it stays that way.
And that's about it! Here are my Lodestone and FFLogs details. Contact me in-game (Miyha Manaya) or on Discord with @Miyha Manaya#3862 if you're interested. If you'd like me on another role, the sooner you contact me, the better.
