No it quite literally broke it, and stranded us there.

So it was a bug, then.

The insta kill mechanic failed, then everything went invulnerable so you couldn't kill anything anymore. So locked us in the instance. But again... somehow this is an "achievement" to you?

It is actually quite an achievement to fail so hard the game breaks, yes.

Basically the dungeon is no longer relevant in this day and age. And the mechanics are pointless at the level its set to.

So don't do them, since there's no point.

But if there was really no point we wouldn't be having this conversation, would we?

So unless they update this thing to current levels... its still fades into obscurity and irrelevance... like it is now with the empty queues.

Well considering there is no Unsynched DF, the reason is probably because most people PF their way into Coil since going in through DF would sync you to 50, and rare is the player who will do coils at 50.

Who at 50th level is going to bother with it when they are handed better gear through the MSQ immediately once they get to Heavenward. Not to mention getting sling shotted through the levels to 70th.

People leveling alt jobs, for one. Also that's more an issue with the MSQ giving gear out like that, not coils.

Or since the only thing really worth it is the Story portion of it... just make it a normal level challenge at 50th, since... well... 50th level is meaningless now... and even more meaningless once we get to Stormblood.

Naw. If you really wanna experience the story you gotta go through as is. If you don't wanna do that then you don't really want the story do you?
