The thing players lack these days are skills. Back in 2.0 I felt players on average had more skill than now. Coil was hard but not that hard. With too many getting use to unsync parties many try to faceroll content and still wipe as they fail to do even the basic mechanics. This seems to be effecting HW content as players use unsync so often to get through 2.0 they really never learn anything going into HW. At least on my server there was also a large talent loss between HW launch and 3.2 when many left for raids servers leaving fewer players that could actually teach coil and other 2.0 ex primal fights. Part of me feels that the unsync option should be removed for the 2.0, my guess soon the 3.0 raids and ex primals when Stormblood launches. Leave it for dungeons if someone in the FC or a friend needs help clearing a 2.0 or 3.0 dungeon quick.
Hmm I'm thinking the better idea here if you're that adamant... about leaving the challenge level as is... where no one plays it at level 50... (yes I literally spent hours in queue waiting for it...)
Then you'd better be for updating the actual content and rewards to level 60... maybe people will start running it again.
They won't. Those of us who like mechanically interesting fights will do them again for a very short while so that we can get the new shinies, and everyone else who can't be bothered to learn the mechanics will wait until 70 and you'll end up back in the situation you are now.

It isn't completly useless to run it you know, you can still get the orchestrion rolls.
But again the "sudden death" mechanics won't help even at lvl 70, 80 or 90. (Meteors placement in T9, Divebombs in T5 or T13)
Have you ever considered that people might like a challenge just for the challenge itself?
That you dont do this content "just for the storyline" - and that not everyone wants to clear it for prestige and people being like "Oh, wow, so impressive that they managed to beat that!"
This content doesnt need adjustment, it doesnt need nerfs - what it needs is the people who do it be willing to face a challenge once in a while, to learn mechanics, work as a team and beat the content. It was never intended to be really queue in with randoms and be a faceroll-one-shot-clear, just as much as the current Savage raid or EX-primals arent expected to be that.
Please, just leave this content untouched so that anyone who wants to have a challenge in the game, has one.
Stop crying because some content in the game actually requires you to pay attention for a change.
The instakill mechanics in Coils aren't that difficult to do, there's only so few of them now that people can just unsync in as i260+. I mean, if you get hit by divebombs or getting knocked into deathwalls....then uhm....learn it?
But yea, this whole "QQ I can't 1-2-3 this fight to win, please nerf" trend needs to stop.
I have an idea also. They should nerf Alexander savage and remove all the mechanics that can kill you so you can clear that as well.
Oh my gooodddd. Level 50 content is just that. It doesn't need to be scaled to Lv60 and it definitely is not difficult at 60 either.
