The thing players lack these days are skills. Back in 2.0 I felt players on average had more skill than now. Coil was hard but not that hard. With too many getting use to unsync parties many try to faceroll content and still wipe as they fail to do even the basic mechanics. This seems to be effecting HW content as players use unsync so often to get through 2.0 they really never learn anything going into HW. At least on my server there was also a large talent loss between HW launch and 3.2 when many left for raids servers leaving fewer players that could actually teach coil and other 2.0 ex primal fights. Part of me feels that the unsync option should be removed for the 2.0, my guess soon the 3.0 raids and ex primals when Stormblood launches. Leave it for dungeons if someone in the FC or a friend needs help clearing a 2.0 or 3.0 dungeon quick.
