not always the case I find. there are occasions where o often feel I could squeeze in a flank attack instead of a frontal one.. maybe not many but some... I sometimes wonder when I'm teathered to the tank in zurvan during broken seal would that one step outside or to the very edge my circle let me land an armor crush at higher potency instead of a dancing edge... is that 46% or just 40...

admit it's minor but it could still result in a dps increase.. and some times various mechanics restrict your positioning but might possibly allow you to squeeze in just enough to land a flank hit.. some of those fights that drop endless puddles on the floor for example...

admittedly there's not a lot of occasions where such things can happen but there's certainly a few..

    Do have a question though.

How did you get the hit box that colour?
that's so much clearer than the faint blueish one I have. it's almost impossible to see at all a lot of the time. maybe that's why I've never noticed the lines

Oh, I hadn't considered that you might not be able to read the target circle appropriately because of its color; I changed the colors back in 2.0 beta4/earlyaccess. That's a good question.

The target's nameplate color will affect the the target "dagger-shaped" pointer, the focus target "dagger sheath" pointer, the target health bar, focus target healthbar, and the target circle. Personally, I like "Unengaged Enemies" and "Unclaimed Enemies" to be a light yellow, "Engaged Enemies" to be red, and "Claimed Enemies" to be a sort of fuschia; but of course all that matters is that it's a color scheme that you can see clearly on various terrains / floors.
