Playstation 4 Stormblood Early Access

Hey everyone,

I'm currently a bit worried as things don't seem to be working as intended.

I preordered the PS4 Physical CE back in January, and got my 18-Digit code for the Website to register, that worked, I picked my platform, and get an E-Mail with my 12-Digit PSN code on Feb. 18th, which I didn't actually see until a week ago because it went to my spam folder.

Anyway, I punched it in on PSN like advised about a week ago, PSN told me the code was redeemed, but gave me no download prompt or anything, I can also not see any hint of Stormblood on my system.

What worries me most, however, is that the mogstation does NOT list PS4 early access in my account.

Earlier today, I tried to put the code I got from my email in PSN again, twice, it worked, both times, as in it said "code redeemed", it didn't tell me the code had already been redeemed.

Now I don't know if it's that way for all PS4 users, but the email I got didn't say *anything* about the code not working until announced, and PC players seem to be able to register just fine.

I've also read of PS4 users that did have the circle below their early access on the mogstation. Does anyone know what's going on with this?

The game won't download anything related to SB until like the day before EA starts and nothing gets registered to your SE account until SB downloads to your system and you log in during EA which then it will register on the mog station.

You don't have to use the code on ps4 it will do it for you. Once you start the download you're good to go. Also ck the add on section on ff14 from the game drop down you'll see a countdown for stormblood

Any game pre-ordered on PSN will be charged immediately, and tied to your PSN account. However, you won't be able to download it until release, or close to release. PS4 has what they call "preload" on most games, which allows you to download the application material anywhere from a couple of days early to a few hours before the actual release. Basically the source material has to be there to download. This can be setup to occur automatically (if you leave your PS4 on, or in rest mode). Or you can do it manually by going to your library and choosing to download it (when the application is available).

Either way, if you download it early, you'll sometimes receive a small update that unlocks it when the game is available to play.

It says the physical copy pre-order gets early access. I'm assuming the code you got allows you to play Stormblood on the 16th. But it will still work the same as if you pre-ordered it on PSN. The material isn't available to download until that time.

if you preordered a hard copy yes, you'll have to wait for the disk. I'm not sure if you have to enter the code yourself in that case, but you shouldn't once you install from the disk. If it's digital i would reccommend psn from now on. since you haven't paid yet you may be able to cancel and order from playstation store in the case of digital, you will be charged on the spot though. Try calling cust support and see if you need the code or not

No you don't have to wait because as soon as you order the physical copy, you immediately get a code on the receipt that allows you Early Access to Stormblood.
I believe the OP is having that small worry that I had when I ordered my physical copy from Amazon. After I pre-ordered my game, I got a code along with instructions on to how to enter the early access code to the PSN. I entered and it said 'code redeemed'. I went to Mogstation and sure enough Stormblood EA is listed under my account, but there's no circle on the PS4 box. To be absolutely certain that the code made it through, I went to Playstation Network website and checked on my recent purchases; sure enough, the Stormblood EA was listed.

I believe once the material is available and is automatically downloaded into the platform, maybe by THEN the Mogstation will confirm that you have early access on your PS4.
