Error (90002 sometimes 90001)

I cant stay connected for more than 10 mins no matter what, I've been playing since jan 1 and was fine til about the last 2 weeks. Its not my system or my isp, I've went thru all the diagnostics and this only happens with FF XIV. I don't get so much as a hickup with anything else. I love this game and I would like to continue playing it, but its pretty unplayable like this. I canceled my sub last night, I have 10 days left to try to figure out the problem or I cant resub. Please help.

Can you explain more on what you're doing every time the error happens? Plus can you say on what platform you are?

Why only ten days left to resub?

Please post hardware. Try cleaning your registry with CCleaner.

Hi peeps just wanted to say I had been having the same issue for EVER. I went into regedit and gave it a Tdrdelay of 8 (DWORD) not (QWORD) I have been playing for 3 days now and so far I have had no crash running on a Gforce 750ti . I tried this once before giving it a delay of 4 and it didn't work so I abandoned the idea suffering. On a whim I dug more and found a fix with the Tdrdelay. I also set my Nvidia 3D settings to advanced 3D imaging as another fix for my card. The regedit path I modified was: open regedit, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/GraphicsDriver, right click mouse over "new" click DWORD rename TdrDelay modify 8. WARNING!! Do not use this fix if you are not comfortable using regedit you can really mess up your PC ( I see this written each time Iv'e seen this fix so I feel it necessary to add it as well) Hope it works, it did for me. Im on PC and it doesnt seem to be tied to any single activity, at first I thought it was only during being queued in the duty finder, so I tried just random questing at different locations and still the same problem. my pc is 4790k @ 4.6ghz watercooled, gtx 980,16 gb 2400 corsair vengeance ram, 1300 watt evga supernova psu. Win 10. Also I have cleaned my registry with CC cleaner. (And I said 10 days left to resub, because im done if I cant sort this problem out before my current sub expires.) Gonna give that registry fix a try.

Consider system restore for Windows or FFXIV reinstallation if nothing else works. Good luck.

speed test is fine getting 90d 10u. Im hard wired and it happens when Im the only one using the net.

Do a test on your connection speed, remember if you have multiple users in your house hold using the internet it cuts your bandwidth ( specially if streaming music / video ) and can cause those errors. I had that issue and just got my own line for it. 0 dc's since then unless it's an actual SE server error. Could try using a filter line optimizer program if on pc as well.

now Im reinstalling and I get ..Unable to download patch files [30413][25008][20495]. after a few mins installing, twice in a row now.
