[Request] Merchandise Minions

Could someone explain to me why Minions such as Wind-up Dalamud,Model Enterprise, Set of Primogs, etc. Are limited to (First Run Only).?

The physical items are still (for the most part) being sold, and I for one would like to purchase these items. However i'm highly reluctant to do so due to the minions no longer being available.
I fail to see the logic of not having them around anymore on a game that constantly has new players join it.

They even used one of the minions as a boss in LoV.

Can something be done to either.

A. Have the minions added back to Merch.
B. Add them to mogstation
C. Someother means to aquire them

If they were ever to come back, they'd probably be massive grinds or grinds in general.

The only reason they're attached to first-run merchandise is to promote early sales/pre-orders.

Yeah, but they would make more money if they would have kept the minions in the product permanently. There are always new players everyday and would like to buy the music, but when they find out that it came with a minion previously, they'll feel shortchanged and not buy it. It's ridiculous. It's not like they run out of pixels. There is just no excuse for not keeping the minion on the product.

Some of the items still being sold on the Square Enix store are advertised as having minions but the codes have already expired! It's farcical that you can buy something, expecting to get the minion, only to find you need a time machine in order to claim it. -_-

I assume the idea to prompt people to buy things immediately; "before it's gone forever!" as the sale pitch usually goes. Still, they could bring them back sporadically even for those who weren't playing.

Still find it odd that the motivating factor for some when purchasing a $50 soundtrack or $40 artbook is not the physical item but a digital fluff item...

That being said, I support moving away from limited runs on the minion codes, or even just selling them in the cash shop and so coming with physical merch is just an extra way to get it for free.

It's not so much a motivation as a, well they got a free minion, why should I pay the same amount and not get the same thing.

If the items are still advertised as coming with a minion they should certianly have either their description changed asap or have the minion come with them. False advertising should always be avoided at all times.

I'd like to see them make a return for those who missed them at the time or started playing the game at a later date. Since they're digital items I imagine it isn't terribly hard to make adjustments. They'd benefit from seeing a surge in sales.
