Re-obtaining Mentor Status

I have Mentor status when it was launched. However, I was gone for close to three months. I'm just now noticing that I don't have access to Mentor Roulette.

How do I get it back?

You need to complete any new 8-mans, 24-mans, and dungeons that were added during your absence. You don't need any of the EX Heavensward trials yet though, so just the Hard Modes.

I'm guessing that these are probably the ones you need to unlock Mentor Roulette again:
--Baelsar's Wall (MSQ)
--Sohm Al HM
--Zurvan HM (Containment Bay Z1T9)
--Dun Scaith (24-man)

To check how many items you need, it should say:

To meet the requirements for this duty, you need to complete the following:
???
???
???
etc.

Number of ??? is the number of duties you have to clear.

you might have to go talk to "The Smith" since that is how you initially get Mentor status or do what HyoMinPark mentions in the above post
does Mentor Roulette show in your list just locked or is it gone?

I'm more than caught up on everything excluding A12S. I've been back for months now (gone from April 2016 to June-ish 2016). I'm just noticing as of my original post that I don't have Mentor Roulette at all.

If you're caught up with content, then I really can't say what it would be. You may need to contact support and ask them what's going on, because if you've been able to run it just fine, and now suddenly it's gone... that's kind of strange.

Worst case, someone reported you and the GMs revoked your mentor status, but as far as I know, this has never happened. So that's probably unlikely.

Gone, as if nothing was ever there.

Do you have other mentor benefits, sich as the option to choose mentor icon in your status? (You get to edit your status by right clicking your name in FC listing, or party listing)

Edit, now I think about it, since they implemented the returner status for those who have been away some time, it might be possible getting that cancels the mentor status. Do you have flower icon by your name? If such is the case, talking to Smith should reinstate it.

i also would think this is likely the reason the OP can't access mentor roulette. since the returnee status places you on the right side of the NN interface and grouped with the new people

This isn't the case here, I don't think. OP already said that the break they took was a while ago, and that they've been back since.

Check with The Smith if you can reobtain Mentor status.
