ehm... in all FF's they looked similiar to this?

And Moogles do not distinguish each other in their appearance.... in no traditional Final Fantasy.

seems very stupid to me to try everything to be changed... the moogles in FF14 are aussum, because they are very traditional moogles.

this is a freaking mouse. and not a moogle.
and the one of the thread author look like bunnys.

thats what a moogle is supposed to look like:

fluffy and rounded. and a big ball on their head.

And the one in FFXIV are just aussum:

    so "cuddly"

they were distinguishable in 9, 12, TA/2, right off the top of my head. and I am sure the others too, past the traditional 16bit FFs. ff11 had all very similar ones im sure because of the same reason as always - ps2 limitations

I hope you're not serious, it's called an opinion. I happen to like the FFTA humanoid yet still cute moogles. They're not as bad as the FFXII ones, though I think they're supposed to be the same. The art style in FFTA made them a lot better though. I see nothing wrong with moogles that actually do things and integrate themselves with the society present in the game. So far in FFXIV they appear very rarely. Hell if you don't start in Gridania you'd never know Moogles are even in the game until now with the moogle battle.

    Edit:

FFXIV Moogle model is bawse. Totally fits in with the more of Eorzea/FF on a whole. Their design provides a nice contrast to the "gritty," "realistic" style that doesn't feel completely out of place, as some posters would suggest. The art dept. could easily add more variety in fur length or other features to distinguish one monitor from the next. Those rat-looking versions from other iterations of FF? (No thanks.)

XIV moogles are fine as is. XIII-2 on the other hand could use a hammer to the face.

Moogle purists and traditionalists vs. moogle progressives... joy.

But it was just a suggestion, because I would strongly like to play as a moogle(though the problem is everyone might x

and it has been done in traditional and non traditional ff to get to play as a moogle. people want new races, and I want to kill two birds with one stone
