    Current Moogle Model(not about weapons)

I personally think the Moogles in 14 have a very ugly model. It seems like they do not even fit into the gritty world. I would personally like to see moogles similar to Final Fantasy XII:

Plus with a style similar to this, they could become a playable race as they seem a lot more unique in each Moogles appearance - so it would lend itsself well to in player creation screen.

Even if they don't let it become a playable race do you think in version 2.0 Moogles should get an overhaul in appearance?

XII's moogles fit perfectly fine in Ivalice's theme, the moogles in XIV are more the classic style moogle so I think they should keep the classicish model.

I am not happy with them either. Their ball is way too big on their head, imo. And yes, it is weird to me that I have an opinion on the size of the moogle ball on its head....

You could get lynched around here for suggesting Ivalice elements should be placed in XIV. It'll break continuity or some stupid shit.

Gonna say no to the winged bunnies with pom-pom's; those were far too much of a departure from the "traditional" moogle. Do a google search and you'll find that "The name moogle (or Moguri in Japanese, Spanish and Italian and Mogry in German) is a portmanteau of the Japanese words for mole (mogura) and bat (komori)." Not that I want to see a mole with wings, but I'll take the stubby little white bear look over the bunny.

Also, it's not like this dev team is being true to the roots of the jobs anyway.
This game is not WoW; if you want WoW, go play WoW. If you get butthurt when people mention Final Fantasy XI, then shut up about WoW.

I like the Ivalician moogles more than the more traditional kinds. Sometimes I like thinking about how FFXIV would be if it took place in Ivalice rather than an original world.

Well, they could at least use fur on them. And the engine can already handle fur as shown with mithras. Something about them just does not sit right with me. Just my opinion though.

Also this is all purely a suggestion for version 2.0 - so in the next era there could be a reasoning why they are more common(playable race even)

But if they are common even not a PC, they all look the same. Look at the trailer for the upcoming event the only way you can tell the difference in the moogles is what they are wearing. There should be variety in appearance - not clones

not to be racist(hehe), but they all look the same!

ehm... in all FF's they looked similiar to this?

And Moogles do not distinguish each other in their appearance.... in no traditional Final Fantasy.

seems very stupid to me to try everything to be changed... the moogles in FF14 are aussum, because they are very traditional moogles.

i hope you arent that serious... if yes... you have no matter of tastes.

this is a freaking mouse. and not a moogle.
and the one of the thread author look like bunnys.

thats what a moogle is supposed to look like:

fluffy and rounded. and a big ball on their head.

And the one in FFXIV are just aussum:

    so "cuddly"

they were distinguishable in 9, 12, TA/2, right off the top of my head. and I am sure the others too, past the traditional 16bit FFs. ff11 had all very similar ones im sure because of the same reason as always - ps2 limitations
