So I got Drk up to 60 and I want to level a new tank. However I really like paladin and marauder. I believe paladin is at 32 and marauder is at 27, what do you main and why?

level all, after all you can equip all without much effort and have all 3 for what you need, just take you time on it, but if you want to choose one first, then WAR is the tank with the best borderline performance on the actual conten so you can take more adventage of this compared to PLD who is considered the worst tank by now until the balance on 4.0
i main paladin because i actually like to tank. yeah, warriors like to top the dps meters. but i like to tempered will and cover a damage dealer that's about to get kicked (baelsar's wall) by the boss and watch as he fails, because i'm a wall of shining steel ^^
i also like to stoneskin and tempered will on a8, standing directly under the boss as he forms while the rest of the raid cowers in the back because knockback, but i don't budge an ilm
and i like to hallowed ground and eat demon claw all by myself, because that's what it feels like to be a tank
PLD mains never cease to amaze me with how delusional they are. Contrary to popular belief, anything a PLD can tank, so can a WAR.
Keep in mind that no matter which of the one you choose, both are able to tank successfully in both end-game and early game content.
Although, paladin has a small issue with aggro in levels ~30-40 (where you get your tank stance, warrior gets it at 30), you can overcome it with a bit more careful play. On the other hand, warrior has hardly any problems with aggro 1-60 provided you "know" how to tank and keep enemies on you constantly.
The real game, however, begins when you hit 60. Paladin, as it is mentioned above, is a straightforward TANK meaning you don't deal damage but you can sustain the highest of hits with many defensive abilities + ability to heal yourself. For warrior, which is my main, things become a bit more fun and challenging. Warrior gets a dps stance + skills for it (a HARD hitting single target, and a decent aoe). Efficient warriors manage to switch between stances mid-fight (what we call stance dance) in order to not only tank but to achieve high dps as well. However, if you don't know how to handle this properly, it can be fatal.
Regarding the tank aspect, warrior has the highest HP pool of all classes + mitigation skills + beastly self-healing ability. Im sure you might have heard of cases where warriors are able to solo dungeon bosses or even alliance-raid bosses when everyone else is dead.
To sum up, paladin is easier to play than warrior only because it misses the dps aspect and requires somewhat less focus on your character (of course this is not the case in savage content). Warrior on the other hand, is much more fun to play but it needs you to constantly keep an eye on your stance (if you decide to switch mid-fight) and also the damage you are taking. Both classes got their pros/cons and we must not forget the skill gap between players as well.

DRK best for speed runs, I love that I can sprint all the time in between pulls and use both MP and TP.
Can't say I see many Paladins suggesting that Warriors can't handle what they do. If you're talking about "Paladin=MT Warrior=OT" type stuff, that's more just that they acknowledge equal ability for tanking, but also Warrior's superior ability for DPS.
^ so true
Warrior is superior to paladin in nearly every conceivable way.
-Better single target and AOE DPS.
-Superior enmity generation.
-Cooldowns are sufficient for current content so main tanking as warrior isn't an issue in terms of defense (the reason why people don't like warrior main tanking is because it gains most of it's dps in the off tank position where it is free to use it's defensive CDs for more fell cleaves)
-Warrior has near unlimited tp, paladin has severe TP issues if there' no breaks, ninja or brd/mch.
-superior self-healing through berzerk + internal release + equilibrium or vengeance + bloodbath + berzerk + internal release + overpower/decimate
You have DRK at 60 use that for main tanking, paladin is....well, trash lol it really is. DRK is a better main tank than paladin and when paired with warriors storms path, it laughs in the face of whatever paladin has to offer defensively.
paladin needs Jesus.

I main all three tanks:
PLD:
My go-to tank when I'm learning new content. I also prefer it during some Raids.
DRK:
My bread & butter for dungeons, as well as for that 1/20 times where I don't feel like being MT.
WAR:
My least played, but I'll hop on her when I want to have fun as MT and OT.

I leveled PLD to 34 for the Awareness crossclass and then never touched it again. I just find it incredibly barebones and a bit dull, but I do hear that things get a little better at 60.
WAR, on the other hand... a beautifully designed job. All its abilities flow really well together, and its ridiculous self-healing means it doesn't matter if my healer dies halfway through a fight.
