Tired to be a "Garo man". What is the best gear for Healers in PVP 3.56+?

My comrades complaying that I wear a garo set. But i thought that it doesn't matter, cuz of 150 ilvl sync. Comparinig my sets I haven't seen any differens also, except of ss (in garo it's higher). Luckely I've been receiving complaints only in Frontline, cuz of Feast has chat restricted :P However, I want to be more useful. And this is not a joke.
Any tips, tricks or articles? Mb smb has calculated this? Any real help are welcoming! Ty!

P.S. Currently my main is AST.

You need to work out your main stat, accuracy (400-ish) & the best secondary stats for your job. For SCH it's MND>ACC (to 400-ish)>CRIT>SpS or thereabouts. I can't remember the exact accuracy cap but I aim for 420 because it's an easy number to remember (not for the obvious reason!).

Try looking for PVP Paissa via Google. It's *the* place for FFXIV PVP info.

Oh, and I forgot that you should wear at least two VIT accessories (right side) to be at least 10.5k HP. You should also always be eating VIT food in Frontlines. Food is useless in Feast.

I wrote this on another thread...

A full set of pvp gear of the same ilvl is not suggested to use (i.e. full garo i235 GLD/PLD set with 1 str ring and 1 vit ring all i235) as you're going to have a pretty much balanced build and in pvp it may not be really effective, the same with pve.

First, for lv60 pvp content it is suggested that you wear only i190+ gears(crafted, tomestone, duty drop) or i180+ pvp gear: i190 because all the secondary stats cap at max from minimum i190 when sync to i150, and i180 pvp gear because it has the morale stat which increases its real ilvl, only during pvp matches, to +xx depending on the morale stats (for i180 should be +30 morale so the gear goes from i180 to i210 iirc).

Your main goal is to find the best synergy of secondary stats for the class/job you're using and to do it you have to mix pve, crafted and pvp gears, NO DIADEM GEAR.
[Diadem gear, pink background icon, are "weak" on pvp encounters]

Most jobs preferred secondary stats are Crit > Det.
Notable exceptions are healers which may have different builds depending on your playstyle: crit/pie, sps/pie, etc... BLM sps/crit...

Note that you are goin to do accuracy if you are playing a non magical user class/job, you may need more or less 410 accuracy when synced to i150, such value is obtainable via x3 accessorizes with accuracy or x2 left side gears with accuracy, but go for the accessorizes; casters don't seem to need accuracy so go full crit/det crit/sps or whatever.
You may also want to equip x1 or x2 VIT accessory in case u r a dps or healer as itll help u survive melee lb.
    >> To check out your stats when synced: equip ur set, go in wolves den, duel sum1 and sync to i150 the when the match started check ur character profile, the stats shown are synced <<

Just thought I'd let you know!

As for healer builds, you have many choices as AST but most seem to prefer either pie/crit, cri/sps or pie/sps
Diurnal Sect + pie/sps is like being a whm but you cast a lot more faster making it harder for your casts to be interrupted on the last second

your gear makes the difference, alongside your skills, experience, awareness and luck (and brain)

One correction - *every* class in PVP has an accuracy requirement of 410, including casters & healers. As a SCH I found that missing Energy Drain three times in a row due to low accuracy made me rage (& miss out on the benefits!) so I always ensure I hit that accuracy cap.

...are u serious bout that? there are less healers anyway in frontline and you think it would getting better if they reactive cleric? aside from all the pve-healer dmg discussions... at least in front you SHOULD stick to healing and buffing/debuffing to keep your party and even your ally alive in open field battles - objectives are the last thing a healer should care about in pvp especially in frontline x__X
