Why no Xbox?

It's been a long time, but I'm almost positive pc, ps2 and Xbox all played together on ffxi. Although Xbox was a late adapter to the game. So between then and now, I'm pretty sure it's all about the $$ from M$ and Xbox live.

Yea they all played together but there some significant time between them. Now if going to go by the JP launch dates then PC and PS2 version launched in 2002 while 360 didn't launch until 2006. If going by the NA launch then PC launched in 2003 followed by PS2 in 2004 with 360 still not launching until 2006.
