LGBT Friendly Free Companies in Excalibur?

Still pretty new to the whole free company thing. Finally starting to get used to the controls of the game since I've only really played MMOs on a PC, lol.

I was just wondering if there were any FC that were LGBT friendly in Excalibur since I'd feel more comfortable talking to others and overall enjoying the game more in general.

I don't know about Excalibur, but if you can't find what you're looking for there, I'd recommend Faerie. They're basically the biggest LGBT friendly server that I know of. One of the biggest FC's there is "LGBT". Just something to consider if Excalibur doesn't have any.

Those that actively advertise themselves as LGBT friendly (obviously) have a higher concentration of players who are LGBT. Many look for them to find a tight knit community they're comfortable bonding with for one reason or another. It's quite common and a few servers have several FCs dedicated to it, some quite massive.

@OP: I can't speak for any other server, but Gilgamesh has a huge LGBT population with a number of very large LGBT FCs.

You also don't ask where all the water is while you're in an ocean. There's no reason to specifically look for something that is an easily encountered majority.

People seek out communities where they feel they will be understood the best. You have to remember that crude humor is more common than ever. I once joined an fc where they greeted newcomers by saying "what's up c*nt?" It's not that they were intentionally being mean, that's just how they expressed their collective humor. But not everyone appreciates that sort of humor and many might actually feel ostracized because of it. I won't sugar coat it and say that the LGBT community isn't the butt of many jokes these days. It's kinda reasonable to want to seek out a community where they know that they will be accepted and where people don't casually joke about sexual preferences.

Your experience is not everyone's experience, nor should it matter to you what someone else is looking for in a FC.

I'm just saying I've never had a problem finding an fc that made a sexuality a defining trait.

All I'm trying to say is, even if you think it would be uncomfortable, I'm sure giving any fc a chance is better than limiting yourself to just a fc that caters to a type of person.

In the end we all want our upcoming weekly clears and be done with it.
