Transferring worlds/server refund?

So, I have tried Goblin and some other world on Aether, and it was very laggy for me. However, most of my friends play on Gilgamesh and I wish to join them. So, I want to transfer a character to Gilgamesh. It is a level one character, but I am worried about lag on that server also. If I transfer my character, but find it to be laggy, and immediately delete that character, can I get a refund for the transfer?

I doubt that since it's a service you're paying for and after the transfer means that the service has been completed. click on this link here, take a look at the data center and server, ping as well as trace route the server/data center itself.

Most likely it's not the data center itself but common known issues aka level 3 issues that are your ISP's fault (well known for that kind of problem are comcast/verizon/warner).

Anyways, I do assume you are trying to transfer a level 1 character because there's a restriction on the server at the time. that's typical since it's prime time, however tonight there is maintenance, and if you can find a way, to log in at 3 am (keep an eye on the announcements since it might finish earlier) you should be able to create a character. It will save you the 18 bucks and you can see if you like the server itself, as well as see if your lag consist.

To make it faster, create a character now on any server, save the character creation file and then later tonight after the servers are up, just load that file and all you need to do after is a couple of confirmation clicks. GL

That is exactly what I did lol....now after maintenance, the game won't launch. I stayed up all night waiting and now I am pissed.

I would have to add that the NA server are moving in May time which might change your lag. so if I was you I would transfer over to Gilgamesh to be with your friends but sit on your hands until end of may to checkout your lag situation
