What is a fast way to rank up GC from first rank?

Hi, I just started paying attention to my grand company rank and am currently the second rank of the first tier.

What is the fastest way to level this up?

I tried doing some grand company levequests but they were just tedious, like /poke on enemies to get stuff to use on other enemies to make enemies to kill that takes forever because none of the enemies have the stuff I need.

Is there a faster way? currently lvl 42 dragoon.

Do GC hunting, trade in in GC Seals, progress trough main story, and request rank up by paying the GC Seal requirement as well.

The GC hunting log is the best way especially because you have to finish it for certain ranks. Fates will also get you GC seals.

For those levequests where you're supposed to /poke something .. you can just kill everything. The item just makes it so you can tell which targets you're supposed to kill and which you *could* leave alone.

GC turn ins and FATEs/levelling up classes. GC turn ins are hands down the best imo

If you craft, supply/provision missions are a good source for both GC Seals and crafting XP, though they're limited to once per day per class. (The amount of seals you get varies with the level of item, so this may not seem like much at first but becomes an increasingly good source the higher your DoH classes level up.) And once you reach Sergeant Second Class, you'll unlock expert delivery missions, which let you turn in certain types of excess gear (typically dungeon drops).

The GC portion of your hunting log gives some good GC Seal bonuses. (Plus the first couple tiers of it you're going to need to finish for a couple later promotions anyway, as Sagittarian mentioned.)

And FATEs are still a good unlimited source.

Honestly...I just made a tank and did Duty Roulette: Leveling. I get like 1000+ per dungeon because tank is always in need.
