Calm down Jun, don't get pissy at me. I asked for clarification because your original posts weren't clear.Im really going to explain this now because this the 3rd post of my repeating myself.
Look at the EU prices here. Again.
EU do get a discount
from 12.99 EUR to 9.99EUR
Are you purposefully ignoring what im writing!?
12.99 EUR = 17.3945 USD Version 2.0 price
9.99 EUR = 13.3773 USD Current Discount.
So why is the current EU discount Higher than the NA full price?
(EDIT:: FYI that $6.99 is the service, and does not include your character slot, it is $9.99 with discount for a 1 character amount
quote from lodestone
* One character save slot as well as a basic service fee is required to play FINAL FANTASY XIV.
* The price for one character save slot is $3.00. An additional $3.00 charge will apply for every additional character save slot.
)
I hope this has clarified for you that yes, EU are getting boned, UK are getting fingered, and NA are paying the least.

Aside from the usual lodestone problem where I always seem to get the US version rather than the UK version because the lodestone checks my browser language rather than my IP address or even *gasp* the account I'm logged in with, I would still really like to be able to "relocate" my account to a US account. Currently:
US$9.99 = AU$9.71
EU€9.99 = AU$13.05
US$12.99 = AU$12.64
EU€12.99 = AU$16.97
We Australians are apparently in Europe, probably because of that silly and outdated PAL-region concept. And unless I get a US copy of the game imported in and start from scratch, that isn't changing.
And still I have no Crysta or a CC alternative to CnB. ;_;
I'm Australian too :-)
This is my receipt for ffxi
