SB: Collectors edition map question

May have been answered already.

I wish to pre-oder the physical collectors edition which lists "Cloth Map of Eorzea"

However on the Stormblood website it has an image of the Three Great Continents.

Are we getting the cloth map or just Eorzea or is it the large map shown on the website here: http://eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/stormblood/product/

Not sure why they'd show a picture of a cloth map showing the expanded areas and then in turn ship just Eorzea.
It's likely just a naming error.

Yeah as far as I'm aware it's a map of the planet - or at least the areas that have been expanded on/will be in 4.0 (barring spoiler content, of course). I seem to recall seeing a thread somewhere a while back discussing a portion of one of the continents being covered.

Thanks guys. Yeah I saw a pic of Yoshida holding up the small map with Eorzea behind him which seemed to be during Stormblood, but unsure if it was showing old as comparison as I missed the stream. Will see if I can find it. So I was unsure.

Really interesting question that I hope we can get an answer to. If you look at the link in the OP and go to bonus 5 which is the map. On left is the map that is being held up, on the right is the map in the OP. You can clearly tell the difference by the cloud design under the Eorzea logo and the Eorzea logos are different.

Yeah. that's why I'm confused haha. I'd love it to be the full map and hope it is. But with it saying "cloth map of Eorzea" on SqEnix's store, makes me wonder which it is for sure.

The Japanese page calls it a cloth 'world map'. I think that the issue has crept in because they announced the cloth map before they announced we were going to Othard etc. So to avoid spoiling that huge surprise, they had to produce the initial images based on it being Eorzea-only because everyone thought Ala Mihgo was the only new region. Since the news has since come out, they can be clearer now.

I think it will show the bigger version of the map, and I want to say Yoshida actually specifically mentioned that at EU Fan Fest but cannot be 100% sure from memory. Perhaps someone with the stream access can confirm.

It was specifically mentioned I believe in the Frankfurt festival that we would be getting the New updated map in the collector's edition, they used an eorzea map..during the unboxing of the SB Collector's edition because they had not yet announced...Doma...and the expanded map.
