Raiders, why do you raid? None riders, why not?

Better way to put it, you won't be clearing Savage floors early in the tier without healer DPS. We are talking like more minimum ilvl, where we didn't have much more than i250/260 gear in early weeks and first month or two of Creator Savage. Not fully-geared i270 pre-echo. That's a different story.

In any raid situation where you are lacking DPS, the healers and tanks should be looked-at first for that extra potential. What more can be done, dropping tank stances, putting cleric on, not just one healer, but are both healers able to get damage-in. You don't need to heal every GCD, so you should be throwing up at-least DoTs in that span. It's better to measure a healer by their casts-per-minute and not their overall DPS. If you are standing around doing nothing, which is wasting GCDs, you are essentially not playing to your potential as a healer.

I'm too casual for raiding and I'm fine with that. My gaming habits are sporadic. I'll play everyday for two months and then randomly take a month long break without meaning to. Personally I just prefer EX trials. They provide the perfect amount of challenge for me and I love the birds. I'd rather dedicate my time to that than to a static.

...You don't have to be the best at your job but at least know how to play it well ... 70-75% is more than enough to beat the hardest content in this game without echo...
People just want to talk about the bad and make the whole thing sound horrible when in reality there are some extremely casual groups out there....

I don't have much time to play in my freetime, so i'm very casual.
But I love spending the time with raids. it makes the most fun and i want to do the hardest content.
I just like good, hard and fair challenges.

Every other content in this game is so boring and easy af, so only raids (Midas was the best A8S<3) are real fun.

And i also like to play with 7 other ppl, who want the same as me.

I don't raid because I don't want to be forced into a static with a specific time schedule. I know that even though because of the lack of doing savage raids I'm not the best player, I'm also not bad and I can learn mechanics and so on quickly. So it's not because I think I'm not good enough - I could be if I would really try too. I just can't stand the thought of having to do something in a game like every Tuesday and Thursday at 8 PM or so. But without a fixed schedule you can't really raid with static members because not everyone has time whenever.

Another thing is that to me it doesn't sound particularly fun to practice a fight for days and weeks which is why I usually don't do extreme primals too. Sometimes I think I would like to practice those fights but without a fixed group of players I'd have to rely on random parties for training and I don't have good experience with training extreme primal battles with randoms. One leaves after 2 wipes, the next one is stuck in phase 1. After practicing for hours you try again next day only for the same things to happen and the same mistakes being made over and over. So I rather don't do it at all. .__.

I cleared T1 - T7 way overgeared back then and the old extreme primals when I was level already 60. I did them all synced though (with the exception of Shiva which my bf and I later unsynced as duo), but that's still very overgeared.

The only Alexander savage fight I did until now is A9S because it's incredibly easy. But I will only join farm groups that don't have things like "perfect dps" or "one mistake = kick" as descriptions. I rather leave those groups for the more experienced players and make my own PF. xD

I don't raid (or do Extreme trials for that matter) because it requires skils I don't possess and which I'm not particularly motivated to develop.

I would love to do raids but I work nights and there isn't a day where I'm always off that day, so doing raids which are usually done on certain days and hours can be a bit tricky.

I would like to raid... but I work night shifts for 10 hours a day 4 days a week. So, I keep odd hours and on half of the week I'm even more scarce than most people... and it's been my experience that statics would probably want to run more than twice a week.

So, only reason I don't raid is I've not run across a group I could fit in, nor am I hopeful that I can. I did raid back when turn 5 was the biggest deal, and it was immense fun (Minus dumb party members that got hit by everything...)
