    Mediator, from Final Fantasy Tactics comes to mind, not necessarily about the linking so much, but their connection from buffing/debuffing enemies, charming, or flat our forcing monsters to join your squad permanently, and boosting/boasting party members to perform way better over time. As a healer, i could see this working, with the linking mechanic, as a ff14 touch to Mediator from Tactics.
