Ornate Riviera Door lights up during the Day when it should be Dark

    Comcast

    Type of Internet Connection:
    Cable

    Internet Connection Speed:
    75 mb

    Date & Time:
At least since 04/13/17 at 11pm till now. Timezone is PST.

    Always

    World:
    Midgardsormr

    Character Name:
Dugu Qiubai (actually is a universal issue that I can see affecting everyone using an Ornate Riviera Door)

    Retainer Name:
    None

    NPC Name:
    None

    Monster Name:
    None

    Class/Level:
I can't remember. I am leveling a Machinist. Must have happened when I was around level 37. But I have multiple level 60 jobs if that matters.

    Party or Solo:
Solo (But again, I see the bug happening with other people's homes in the Mist).

    Race:
    Miqo'te

    In-Game Time:
I don't remember what the server time was when I first noticed it. But it's 12:38 am server time now, and I the bug is still there I think.

    Area and Coordinates:
13.3x, 10.8 y in the Mist, plot 17, 10th ward. The bug was so distracting I changed my door to a wooden door. However, you can check out my neighbor, plot 18, 10th ward, and you will see the bug--ie, the Ornate Riviera Door will light up even during the day.

    Housing:
Mist, ward 10, plot 17. The bug was so distracting I changed my door to a wooden door. However, you can check out my neighbor, plot 18, 10th ward, and you will see the bug--ie, the Ornate Riviera Door will light up even during the day.

    Steps:
    (1) I bought a plot of land in the Mist, ward 10, plot 17.
    (2) I constructed a stone house which came with an Ornate Riviera Door
    (3) I noticed that, when standing outside the house, the windows will stop emitting light during the day, but the door will continue emitting light during the day.
    (4) I bought a different door, a wooden one, and installed it onto the house using the Remodel Exterior option.
    (5) Then I bough an Ornate Riviera Door, and reinstalled it using the Remodel Exterior option.
    (6) This caused light to CEASE emitting from the Ornate Riviera Door during the day.
    (7) I entered and exit the house, and this CAUSED the Ornate Riviera Door to ONCE AGAIN emit light during the day.
    (8) I bought a Wooden Door again.
    (9) I used the Remodel Exterior option and selected the Wooden Door BUT DID NOT confirm the change.
    (10) This caused the Ornate Riviera Door graphic on my house to change to the Wooden Door graphic (i.e., giving me a preview of the change to my door should I choose to accept the installation of the Wooden Door).
    (11) I declined to confirm the change by cancelling and exiting from the Remodel Exterior option window (which caused the door graphic to revert back to an Ornate Riviera Door)
    (12) This caused the Ornate Riviera Door to CEASE emitting light during the day.
    (13) I entered and exited my house.
    (14) Upon exiting the house, the Ornate Riviera Door ONCE AGAIN emit light during the day even though the windows are dark.
    (15) Frustrated, I turned my house into a Wooden House via the Remodel Exterior option (bought and installed a wooden roof, wall, doors, and bay windows).
    (16) I ran to my neighbors house (Mist, Ward 10, Plot 18) to see if the problem was limited to just my plot of land and my house. My neighbor, indeed all who have an Ornate Riviera Door display the bug--the Door lights up during the day when it should be dark.
    (17) Someone postulated on the Housing Forum that the bug may be limited to small houses (cottages). To test the theory of the bug being limited to small homes (and also to see whether the bug is limited to my housing ward), I teleported to Ward 1, ran to Plot 1 to take a look at a Medium house and noticed that it has the same bug--the Ornate Riviera Door lights up during the day when it should be dark.
    (18) I took the following screenshot to prove the bug exists and it exists for all housing sizes (notice how the door is lit but the windows are dark) and NOTE that this pic was taken in the MIST, WARD 1, PLOT 1:
