[Report] DCing Issues? Intel WiFi hardware may be the cause.

So for a lil while now, I had many times of the 90k DCing at times, or lag syncs in the game.

Well after some research and testing. I learned that Intel Wifi based hardware may not like XIV all that much. I have the Intel AC 7260 on this desktop, but seen the same issue on laptops too with intel hardware.

Now I suspect it could very much be driver related stacked with Windows 10 updates that happen. Was a time it worked fine everything but was short lived.
https://communities.intel.com/thread/109381 (Shows one area people were concerned about)

Now my test did involve a clean driver install, even removed fully the proset software and went drivers only etc. Even tried to run off the 2.4 band instead of 5. No luck, still was dcing at random spikes.

I DID keep a network monitor going at the time for the XIV process to see if it dropped out anywhere. It did not. No drop in latency, all ping was under 50ms with 0 network packet dropouts or total internet drop outs. However XIV still just did a 90k disconnect.

Only the main game thread lost connection to the server, NOT the chat connection. While the game was not updating actions or so in the game. I was still able to chat to people. Then it would DC.

After that test, I switched to my Realtek internal wired connection. Been running that for a week now to give it a full test. Not one issue... not one DC, sync lag, anything. So that told me was nothing wrong with any configs of my computer itself. Leaving it proof for me between 2 computers that was Intel hardware that something is wrong between the drivers, software or hardware itself and XIV. (Since other games are not DCing or showing these issues when I tested)

If any dev needs me to post more info, just let me know what is needed. To anyone else having the same issue. Least you have something to explore.
